When you first approach us, we will arrange to meet with you to discuss your project and develop a project brief. We will discuss your timescale, budget and the feasibility of the project. At this stage we may provide alternative solutions to meeting your needs. Our initial consultation is free of charge.
We will issue a written fee proposal for the work discussed. Our fees are fixed and agreed prior to any work taking place. We will never charge for work without your agreement. The terms of our employment will be made clear from the beginning.
A measured building survey of the existing property or a topographical survey of the land is the first stage to be carried out to ensure that we are able to put together accurate design concepts.
We will develop a conceptual sketch design based on your brief and our analysis of the site. Our designs are produced using CAD systems. We work with software that allows us to produce 3D images if required to communicate our ideas to you. This enables the information to be shown clearly and effectively.
Our familiarity with the local authorities puts us in a good position to advise you on local planning constraints and the complexities of the planning process. We can prepare and submit your planning application.
We also have a thorough understanding of the latest Building Regulations and can prepare the necessary drawings and documents for submission to Building Control.
